Conner Drafting & Design welcomes the addition of
Dana Whitehead, Allied ASID
as our in-house Interior Designer!
Dana comes to us with over 24 years of experience in the interior design and flooring industry. She specializes in space planning, finishes, flooring, and can help out with your home building process.
Dana is an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers, where she has been a member for 30 years.
Dana, originally from Rocky Mount, NC, attended East Carolina University and received her degree in interior design with concentrations in art, construction management, and marketing in 1996.
She has worked in the River Landing community, Wilmington, Topsail Beach, and Jacksonville areas to name a few.
Since 1999, Dana has made Richlands her home with her husband Gregg, and their son, Jason.
To determine your needs and provide direction, our interior design services start with an in-home consultation for up to two hours.
The goal with the initial consultation will be to go over your needs and assess your space. We would like to know how you use your home now, any specific requirements that may be needed, and how you envision your space going forward.
We can recommend furniture placement
Discuss preliminary budget, and project timeline
Give ideas on how to mix patterns, styles, antiques, and to incorporate existing pieces.
*No design work, materials, furniture selections, or re-arranging of furnishings will happen during this meeting.

In-Home Consultation
Up to two hour first meeting with client in their home.

Finish Selection
We will help the client decide on home finishes only. Such as flooring, tile, wood finishes, and paint.
This can be done by client bringing in samples or by going to the vendors to select material
$50/hour
Design Only
In-person service.
The client will do their own purchasing & project management.
We will discuss color, furniture placement (space planning), and what type of items the client will need to purchase
$50/hour
In home Options
Hang Pictures
Placement of furniture-will require help from client provided manpower, or hired
Accessorize Room
$50/hour
Color Consultation
In-home consultation focused on paint and color only.
$50/hour
